New picture!

Babies seem to be getting really chunky now and I am just waiting to see who will make a break for it first over the next couple of days.
3 sables and 9 BEC - Will be interesting to see if i will get any satins soon.



I can't believe how quickly they have grown!

Well all babies seem to be doing fine and I had another sneak peek of them today when Coco came out for porridge and left the nest open. Their colours seem to be developing (and their tiny cute ears!) and it looks like there are around 3 possible sables so i am very excited. I am after a LH Sable male so i guess we will just have to wait and see!!!

As for pictures - i have not really had a good opportunity to take any as she is constantly guarding her nest and covering them up. mother knows best, hey?!

Well after Coco nearly destroying 1 (and a half!) cage(s) during her pregnancy - I am pleased to announce the birth of the Cogars! They arrived at 11.30 last night  

Mummy is Coco my LH Satin BEC (From Jelly Hams) and Daddy is Yaffles Hamburglar - a gorgeous LH Sable.

Coco is being a very good mum and has come out for her sunflower seeds this evening and gave me a little glimpse of her nest...

Now this is my first litter and I can't believe how cute they look squirming about and yawning! There looks to be about 12/13 when I done a head count but i will just have to wait and see what happens.

Sorry the picture is a tad blurry but I am sure you get the idea! I have probably put the cage in the worst possible area (light wise!) but it's the quietest place in the house. The picture was taken from outside the cage so I did not disturb Mum and her babas.
