tame! We purchased a Habitrail Ovo Suite for her which was such a bad idea. They look good, however when you try and get a hamster out to play they just run into the tubes so you can't get to them and they become frightened of your hand. It took us to buy a Savic Rody Cage and some intense taming sessions from tips given by other hamster keepers and within weeks she became the most gorgeous hamster - it was unbelieveable.

Biscuit absolutely loves her wheel and can run for hours and hours. She also enjoys a good bar chew and will ALWAYS find a way to climb to the roof bars in a tank style cage to get to them. She is very small compared to a breeder ham and would never do well in an official class in a show. However I did enter her into a 'fun' hamster race at Brockholes in April 2009 and she came 2nd. So all of that wheel running done her some good and she is now a very proud owner of a blue rosette. Go Biscuit, Go!
